Paxport celebrates 30th anniversary, joining travel trade and airline partners in recognising continued investment in travel technology.

Paxportʼs landmark anniversary demonstrates longevity and continuous product evolution in airline distribution, digital payments and ancillary merchandising.

London, 7th May 2024 – Paxport, the leading partner in aggregated flight content, passenger management, post-booking airline ancillary merchandising and digital payments, is proud to celebrate 30 years of delivering market leading travel technology.

From Paxport’s inception, we’ve made it our mission to remove logistical headaches from all types of travel operations, allowing both airlines and travel resellers to get to market quickly, drive efficiency and generate new revenue streams.

Paxport was founded in 1994, and since then has built an industry recognised platform that delivers access to thousands of airline fares and ancillary services, including a complete distribution solution for travel resellers, an end-to-end passenger management platform, and a complete digital payment solution.

Over the last 30 years, there have been many milestones which demonstrate Paxport’s position and the centre of travel, facilitating not just the travel industry to do business, but also improving the passenger experience.

Landmark achievements:


      • Paxport founded in Stockholm, Sweden with the introduction of our Passenger Management System


      • PaxShop, our award winning ancillary merchandising system for tour operators and airlines, is successfully launched, generating critical ancillary revenue. Today, airlines are upselling to more than one in five passengers, boosting ancillary revenue by over €30 per passenger.


      • Paxport acquires UK based travel technology company Multicom, bringing highly advanced airline distribution and flight caching technology into Paxport Group


      • Paxport’s next generation cache API PaxCache Connect is launched after significant investment, driving flight pricing accuracy and increasing online conversation for Paxport customers.


      • Pax2pay, our digital payment business, is launched and incredibly, picks up the award of ‘Digital Payment Solution Platform’ a year later, marking just how valued the Group’s investment in fintech will become.
      • Paxport successfully launch their first certified IATA NDC solution.


      • PaxShop wins ‘Champions of Conversion’ at the prestigious Travolution Awards.
      • PNRGOV data reporting service is launched to help airlines manage passenger data.


      • PaxCache, our market-leading flight cache technology, wins ‘Champions of Data’ at the Travolution Awards.
      • Paxport named ‘Best Global Digital Travel Solutions Provider’ at the Travel and Tourism Awards, acknowledging our versatility in connecting the travel industry with end-to-end technology offering.


      • Paxport’s airline distribution business launches new post-booking management servicing tools, to enable OTAs and tour operators to more efficiently manage low-cost carrier bookings, improve the passenger experience, as well as facilitating IATA NDC connected airlines to successfully distribute their content and drive adoption.


      • 30th anniversary announced.
